It was a while ago that we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Sentosa, September 2015 to be precise.
At the time Singapore was covered in a horrible haze due to massive bush fires in nearby Indonesia.
The Hard Rock Hotel is located on Sentosa Island which is an island of adventure. There is a cable car that crosses the island, an aquarium, casino, Universal Studios, restaurants, heaps of different activities and resorts resorts resorts. You could probably spend a month on Sentosa and not run out of things to do. We had 1 night.
Like all the other hotels on the island the decor is modern and stylish. The room was rather average for a pricey location but you come for the atmosphere not for the room.
The main attraction was the awesomely HUGE pool complex at the back of the hotel which sadly we never had enough time to use.
We did make it to the restaurant attached to the Aquarium for lunch and you can see photos of that on my Singapore Spring 2015 post.
A major highlight for me was eating a famous Hard Rock Cafe Original Burger which I haven’t had since I was a kid and to be able to order it as room service was excellent!
Sentosa is a little bit out of the way to get to from Singapore’s CBD but well worth the visit. I’d suggest spend more time than we did cause there really is a lot to do.
