Last weekend I decided to kill some time and caught an express train from Hornsby in Sydney’s northern suburbs to Gosford on the Central Coast.
The train ride has some amazing views traveling through bush land and past some amazing waterways of the Hawkesbury River and Brisbane Waters.
In total the trip takes about 45 minutes each way for the express service and with Sunday’s all day travel for $2.60 it was more than affordable.
And here’s a timelapse video (not the best) of the Hawkesbury River which the train travels over and around for some of the trip.
And lastly a map of the route.
